Homes for Heroes is always proud to recognize the accomplishments of our real estate agents and lenders when it comes to helping our nations heroes, but these individuals have taken it to the next level.
Four real estate agents and three lenders have each helped more than 100 Heroes with their real estate needs, and each of them have given back to their local community Heroes. The savings received from these real estate professionals made the dream of home ownership more attainable for these heroes and their families.
Homes for Heroes is proud to announce that each of these individuals were inducted into the 100 Heroes Served Club for their outstanding achievement.

Caleb has helped and given back to 133 Heroes since joining Homes for Heroes in 2009. When asked how receiving this award made him feel and what Homes for Heroes has meant to him over the years, Shaw said, “I’m Humbled. That’s 133 people that put their trust in me and 133 people that I was able to help because they gave me that opportunity. When you go in with your heart, open and honest, and you really put these heroes interests ahead of your own…to be able to take it to that next level, to help the very people that put their lives on the line and are willing to die for us. It’s just a circle of giving that never ends.”

I found Homes for Heroes and saw that it was about giving back within your own community, and being of service to these folks…that mean so much to us. I knew it was the right fit for me. It makes me feel good to know that we’ve helped that many different families in some form or fashion. We offered something to them that someone else didn’t.”

When asked what her favorite thing is about Homes for Heroes, Scales responded, “When they (the Heroes) are able to move into a home and you’re able to give them something back! Most of the time in our market our buyers don’t really have to bring much to the closing table. So to be able to offer them something in the way of additional savings, or an upgrade that they really wanted to get, is just wonderful.”

Sam has helped and given back to 158 Heroes since joining Homes for Heroes in 2010. When asked what the program has meant to him, Cachola said, “(Homes for Heroes) was started from the heart and the purity in what we do is the real thank you. Embracing the service aspect of this profession and helping (heroes) beyond just buying a home, it truly shows them that we appreciate what they do. When you do it the right way for a community hero, the peace of mind that you bring to the hero is wonderful, but the ripple effect of your actions is what’s truly amazing to me. By getting them into a home and settled correctly (for them), that by default strengthens a community.”

I can go back and remember almost every one of them, and remember their faces, their stories and everything about them. I think that’s more special to me than just the numbers. It’s how many of them I remember working with, and to see the joy and excitement on the families faces when they are able to buy their home. It’s just huge.”
