Jason – Law Enforcement

We were assigned Nicole Ricker when we signed up for the Homes for Heroes program, but we wouldn’t use her again and wouldn’t recommend to any of our friends to go with Nicole. When we signed up for the program, we were originally looking north of Atlanta, but decided early on to switch the area that we were looking to south and southeast of Atlanta. We asked Nicole if we should look for another realtor or if we could be assigned another realtor since this wasn’t typically her area, and she assured us it was fine. Nicole as a person was great. She was always super friendly. But she didn’t typically listen when we talked, and instead talked over us a lot, which was frustrating. Sometimes it was hard to hold a phone conversation with her because it was always a battle of who could talk the loudest. Several times throughout the process we considered giving up and trying again with a different realtor because of the problems we had. Nicole, as a realtor, didn’t do anything for us. We found the houses we wanted to look at. She didn’t send us any. We sent her the addresses and information we found and asked her to get the codes for us so we could view the houses. She was typically out of town and at times hard to get in touch with. She never met up with us to show us any houses. We didn’t actually meet Nicole until the signing. In our experience, that’s just not good customer service from your real estate agent.
