But it wasn’t until recently that I found my deeper “why.” Inspired by the selfless courage of my late friend and colleague Peter Luft during his battle with cancer, I took a step back to reflect on my own journey.

That’s when I reconnected with Ruth Johnson and the mission of Homes for Heroes.

Joining this incredible organization has given true meaning to my work — aligning purpose with a powerful cause:

To serve and give back to our nation’s heroes. It’s a privilege to carry this mission forward, honoring Peter’s legacy and the tireless commitment of heroes like my wife, a teacher of 32 years.
