Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association Receives $5,000 Grant
The Rockland County Volunteer Firefighters’ Association is made up of 26 volunteer fire departments in Rockland County, New York. The Rockland Association provides support to their firefighter members, their firefighter family members and the communities within the county. Some of the programs include a scholarship program, monetary donations to assist a firefighter or their family members during a challenging time, or support for the family of a firefighter who loses their life. The Homes for Heroes Foundation grant will be used to help fund these programs for some of their volunteer firefighter members.

Ormond Beach Firefighter Charities Receives $5,000 Grant
The Ormond Beach Firefighters Charities, located in Ormond Beach, FL is a firefighter nonprofit organized in 2026 that provides support to first responder families, including both firefighters and law enforcement, and also community families and local events when support is needed or during challenging times. Because of Ormond Beach Firefighter Charities and a grant from the Homes for Heroes Foundation, some of the financial burden on Ethan Wilson’s family will be further relieved.

Burke LEAF (Law Enforcement Assistance Foundation), located in Morganton, NC is a law enforcement nonprofit collaboration of officers and community citizens who are committed to relieving financial burdens of local law enforcement officers. In December 2023, Investigator, Cody Storie and his family lost their home to a fire. Because of Burke LEAF and a grant from the Homes for Heroes Foundation, some of the burden weighing heavily on Cody and his family following the fire was lifted.

Upstate Warrior Solution Receives $5,000 Grant
Upstate Warrior Solution is a community-based nonprofit serving military veterans and first responders, plus their families in the upstate of South Carolina. Since 2013, they have served nearly 9,000 warriors and their families with housing, employment, healthcare, education, family support and more. The Homes for Heroes Foundation awarded a grant to Upstate Warrior Solution to assist a law enforcement member and his family after he was shot on a routine traffic stop.
