Ezras Nashim provides emergency medical care for the Orthodox Jewish community, with a crew of women EMTs, so that women can focus on their health without worrying about their modesty or dignity. In March 2022, the Homes for Heroes Foundation presented a $10,000 grant to the Ezras Nashim. This grant is part of the Homes for Heroes Foundation’s circle of giving, providing assistance for heroes in dire need across the country.

Homes for Heroes Foundation Surpasses $1 Million in Grants

Since 2015, Homes for Heroes Foundation has been providing assistance to heroes in the community. What began as critical housing assistance on an individual basis has evolved to monthly $5,000 to $10,000 grants from the Foundation to nonprofits across the country. As the needs of heroes grew, so did the need to increase the grants. The Homes for Heroes Foundation is proud to announce that they surpassed $1 million in grants in December, 2021.

Homes for Heroes Foundation presents $10,000 grant to Running 4 Heroes

The Homes for Heroes Foundation is proud to announce the presentation of a grant to Running 4 Heroes for $10,000. Running 4 Heroes mission is to honor fallen first responders across the country who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Zechariah Cartledge is the young founder of the non-profit. As an avid runner, Cartledge ran a 5k race for the Tunnel 2 Towers organization. During the race, he saw first responders running in all their heavy gear. This sparked his interest in the sacrifices first responders make every day. Homes for Heroes Foundation Grants $10,000 to FOP Foundation’s DART

Disasters occur across the country, typically with little to no warning. Between fires, floods, hurricanes, or a host of other catastrophes, communities year after year are devistated. For the police and first responders in those communities, a glimmer of hope has started to arrive sooner thanks to the National Fraternal Order Of Police (FOP) Foundation’s Disaster Area Relief Team (DART) national response team.

The FOP is the number one voice of law enforcement officers in the country. They are the oldest and largest union with 364,000+ members. Their Foundation is the charitable arm that lets them provide for officers and their families in their biggest time of need. As of August 2021, when the most recent donation of $10,000 occurred, Homes for Heroes Foundation has granted a total of $32,500 to the FOP Foundation. Homes for Heroes Foundation Partners with Tunnel to Towers to Honor Fallen Firefighter

Firefighter and paramedic Jason Cortez passed away on October 7, 2020 while conducting a training exercise with the San Francisco Fire Department. Jason had spent the last 13 years serving his community. The Homes for Heroes Foundation and Tunnel to Towers wanted to honor his service through his family.
