This program proved to me that it truly does cares about its Heroes. Back this summer, I lost a fellow officer and friend in the line of duty. He was killed in traffic accident while responding to assist another officer. Mrs. McMaster knew that this officer was a friend of mine, so the Homes for Heroes Program made a donation in the name of that officer.
Another awesome benefit with this program is that part of your realtor’s commission is used to assist you in your closing cost. Any extra money that is left over from that, it is then donated to the charity of your choice. A short time after our closing, we had a family member pass due to cancer. The left over money from our closing costs was donated to the American Cancer Society in the name of our deceased family member. This deceased family member just a happened to be a great teacher too.
