Meet Brit. Brit is an 8-year-old German Shepherd that spent his entire life serving as a narcotics detection dog for a military police unit.
And now Brit is set to enjoy a relaxing retirement in a loving home for the rest of his days.
Brit was recently adopted by a veteran and his wife , and he received grand treatment throughout his journey from Seattle to his new home in Fayetteville, North Carolina, flying untethered in first-class and enjoying the affection and respect of many well-wishers.
And now, after 8 years of faithful service, Brit will shed all military responsibilities and commence his tenure as a full-fledged member of the Russell clan. Homes for Heroes wishes Brit all the best!
